  • I havent used a sewing machine before...
    Please dont worry, you will wonder what you have been worrying about after your first day. All our machines have a direct drive motor so can be controlled easily. We havent had anybody struggle yet !
  • Who are your courses for ?
    The types of people we have had on our courses have been hobbyists, people who have been made redundant, people looking to start their own business, people who have a boat and want to do their own seats etc, we have even had a solicitor who just wanted a complete change in life - so basically for anybody who wants to give it a go !
  • What if I forget everything when I leave the course ?
    No problem ! We are here to support you after the course too...we dont just leave you to figure it out. You will have the tutors number when you leave the course just in case you have any questions, get stuck or forget anything. We have now got a private Facebook Group. You will be invited to it when you leave the course. Everybody in there has been on one of our courses. The most common problem a student has when they have left the course is that something has happened with their machine that they havent come across before so we would do a Video call with you either through Zoom, Whatsapp or Skype.
  • Do I have to bring anything with me ?
    We recommend a notebook & pen. A camera is always handy too....Oh and dont forget your lunch ;-) If you are on one of the seat courses and want to bring your own seat please do as it will be helpful when you leave us to reference back to. If you dont have one dont worry we will have one for you to train on for the duration of your course.
  • Do I have to pay it all when i book ?
    No, we ask for a deposit which secures your place. The balance is then due 7 days before the course starts. Deposits vary depending on the course you choose.
  • If I join the Monthly Membership can I cancel anytime?
    Yes you can. You pay upfront as a member and can cancel at anytime. You will be charged until the end of your paid period so monthly, 3 monthly or yearly. We do not refund up till then unfortunately. For example - if you pay for monthly we will take the monthly fee and you are a member until the end of that period. If you cancel you will still be a member until that month finishes. If you have any questions on canceling please contact us marineundacover@gmail.com
  • Can I pay over the phone ?

  • What payment methods do you accept ?
    We accept most major credit or debit cards either online or over the phone through Stripe or if you prefer you can pay by bank transfer. Payments are processed on a secure server and all orders and payment details are encrypted for security. All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling. Overseas customers: your credit card provider will convert this into your own local currency and the total will appear on your credit card statement just like any other purchase you make.
